You try to explain to someone that they should give older music a chance, but they insist that only today's is worth listening too.

Someone is listening to a pop station, and a certain song comes on, and they love it. A few months later, the song is played again (if it hasn't already been forgotten) and they change the channel.

Someone says that jazz only uses complex theory for the sole purpose of being complicated.

You go to a piano and start playing Blue Rondo a la Turk or Bohemian Rhapsody to moderate appreciation and amazement. The next person comes and plays a four chord song and they are automatically the best pianist anyone's ever seen.

Some of them are a little cliche or proud, but they bug the heck out of me!
