Yo, Andy: I've got the pedal version of this amp, and I've demo'd the combo in shops so I have an idea what the speaker sounds like too. Nothing but good to be said about Blackstar's babies - congrats!

Can't wait to hear what you do with all those different tones - all in one piece of music would be cool! Get in - wig out! (If that's not a "hairist" comment...)

Cheers - C

I hit a couple of Music Stores yesterday and checked out some of the other Blackstar Amps.

I was impressed with all of them from the little 1w HT-1R all the way up to the 100w Series 1 Amp Head.
I have my sights set on the Venue Series HT Stage HT-60w 2x12 Combo!!!

Very cool amp Andy! Heard some good things about Blackstar amps, I wouldn't mind trying one next time I'm in a music shop.

Enjoy! :D

Cool Mr. Big Hair...

I'm really trying to stay home today and not go into the city but you are making it very difficult...

Howdy!

Thanks again folks!

I'm pretty lucky really as I don't have neighbours to worry about and Mrs Bighair could sleep through the apocalypse so I've been free to Rock-Out into the early hours. I'm very smitten and played so much yesterday that for the first time in years, the tips of my fingers hurt! I spent ages layering up little tunes with my looper then running it through the effects loop and gratuitously soloing over the top for hours! Endless fun! :D

Does anyone else have a thing for late night guitar savagery?

Anyway plenty of feature still to try. Looking forward testing the Emulated Output over the next couple of days. See how if fairs against my PODX3. Game on! 8)

 At first glance something looked way out of scale in the pic. until I realized it was a lunchbox ampl. The infinite shape feature on those amps is something I want to play with. Does it adjust the bias to get the tonal differences?

HA! Yeah, its a cute looking little stack!

I have no idea how the ISF actually works. It sounds to me like it kind of re-shuffles the EQ. Either way its bloody cool. Now go try one!

Hehehe! Still make me chuckle that the HT pedal was so good the decided to build an amp round it!

As often as I possibly can! (the looper helps) :D

Nice! I bet that 100 Series 1 is a right screamer!

Do you know, I was in a little demo room packed full of Blackstars but I was so blown away buy the half stack that (bar using the Series 1 4x12 cab) I didn't even second glance any of them!

Enjoy!

Andy
