Only 87 here today... and that was with rain. 90+ yesterday and more coming, with humidity to match. I used to love summer, but in my later years I am almost preferring winter.

One of my cats was panting, and would not come inside, he's finally cooled down now, was a bit worried though.

A friend of mines' dog is so stupid it almost died out in the Sun just laying there. It was about 2 feet from the shade of the house. My friend went out and put the dog in the shade. This dog is a trip. He's always doing something stupid.

It's just about the same here as it is in Nevin's neck of the woods: 73 F.Just after only 10 really nice warm days there are people complaining about the weather being too hot.We just had the longest, coldest and wettest spring in our recorded history and these mopes are complaining about civil weather that's long overdue-they need psychiatric examinations or to be exiled to Antarctica.

i've been wanting to post about the heatwave here in dallas/fort worth for fear of being called a va-jay-jay. it's been over 100 degrees for a few weeks and i work construction. i just try and drink as much water as possible and cool down at lunch break.
+1000 for ceallach and all service folks. hope to see you all come home soon.
