well i originally planned on getting a big muff with tone wicker, but that has taken way to long to ship so i cancelled it. i'm going down to melbourne this weekend, for many reasons. but my main one is to check out the guitar shops for distortion/fuzz pedal. so what i need is just a bunch of really decent pedals for a punk rock/experimental guitar player. just suggest as many as you can.

I used to have (don't think it works anymore) a Boss Hyper Fuzz II. It was cool as a toy, it had two different types of fuzz plus an extra type of weird signal gain. Never found any practical use for it because it was too whiny for my taste, the sound had absolutely no bass left after passing thru it. Or maybe I just didn't know how to use it correctly.

I have two Devi Ever fuzz pedals, but not the Beautiful Disaster pedal. I have the Vintage Fuzz Master (octave up) and the original Torn's Peaker (epic fuzz) with a toggle switch instead of a knob. Her pedals aren't little buzzy fuzz boxes and aren't for the faint-hearted.

I'd like to pick up her Godzilla and Shoegazer twin pedals.

There are videos on the Devi Ever website:

I've been looking at Harmonic Percolator clones lately, myself.... Nothing I have gives me a good controllable feedback like that, it's really just hold guitar up to amp = squeal, change pedal settings a bit = squeal, change a bit more = s****y whale sound. The Percolator (when done right, that is) seems to give off a much more usable and controllable feedback.....

I tried quite a few fuzz over many years, always either sucked the tone and/or were too noisy. I sold them all and now using a Fender Blender, best decision I made in a while, it's pretty quiet with noise but can get real nasty.

The Fender Blender is Armageddon in a box. very cool sounding fuzz.

Was lucky enough to find a 68 for not too much dough. Although I heard the new ones pretty much sounds the same.
