It seems like a good idea, a portable digital multitrack recorder with built in effects that fits in your pocket. I've been thinking about getting one of those for about a year now. Still waiting for the price to drop, I guess. It still costs the same now as it did when it first came out but that wasn't that long ago. I've only looked at them though I haven't tried one out yet. Its probably one of those things that I'd get and I'd be really excited about it then I'd forget about it. Or maybe it'll inspire me to make some recordings. I usually just record into my computer and that works good enough.

I've been researching these recorders for what seems like forever, I keep going back and forth between the micro br and the br600. I really like the size of the micro. Is it easy to convert what you recorded to an mp3? And are the drum presets any good? thanks. 8)

yes, it is very simple, you can do it without plugging it up to a computer. and the drum effects are ok, nothing i really loved, but i'm kinda picky when it comes to drums.

Yeah it seems like that would work more like a click track you play along to while your recording. I think I'd be more interested in the br, I might even already have one, if it was capable of recording at higher bit rates. I'm also skeptical about the dsp effects but I wouldn't be using it for serious recording anyway.
