I move to make an amendment to the constitution of the United Posters of the Fender Forum ( mostly trouble making bass players like myself) to show some restraint and reserve towards our fellow Fender Forum enjoyers. This in reference to actions that are known as "derailing" threads of possible interest to others. We must unite and pledge that we should not and will not derail or interfere in the common interests of others by showing restraint and not posting off topic comments like: "I had spaghetti once" etc., as this interferes in the general direction of thoughts and enjoyment of the public viewing and participating in the Forums and threads.

I personally vowe to restrain and reserve my tendancies to interupt any thread and conversation UNLESS it is so utterly stupid that my head will explode if I don't. That really doesn't happen much though. So rest assured that a new leaf is overturned.

I urge others in this endeavor, and to join with me in the common good for all of Mankind in this pledge to do our best to help preserve and provide for the opportunity to have a safe and happy stay while here on the Fender Forum.

Not to make light of the situation but I am imposing an NCAA type ban on myself and am fining myself : 1 set of Rotosound bass strings, 2 days of non- participation on the Forum, and removal of an undisclosed amount of oversized picture posts.

In closing I would like to say thankyou to the very good people of the forum and to the pinheads of the World I say " Bite Me". Thank you please turn out the lights when you leave the room- electricity does not grow on trees.

Good idea. Sometimes, civility is a mite thin, here.

Something similar from The Order Of The Dandelion, on "X Marks The Scot.com", a heritage, history, social and kiltwearer's and enthusiasts' site.

Agreed. Let's limit our discussion to Fender guitars. For example, I'm very fond of the Telecaster:
