This make me proud of being a Portuguese!

Since I'm also from Porto, it's even better!
That is a traditional portuguese guitar mostly used to play fado and mastered by the late Carlos Paredes.

Don't you just love luthiers excentricities?

Cheers from Porto, Portugal

It's a great city with a lot of history in it.

In the shores of the Douro river the houses have marks off the old floods, the Rebelo boats still go up and down the river and the port wine is one of our main exportations!

Did you know that when Napoleon tried to take over Porto this little brige which united the shores, Porto and Gaia, fell apart when the Porto's population tried to escape? It's tought that nearly 5,000 died in that disaster (ponte da Barca).

Did you also know that the bridge that you see in the picture is built by Gustav Eiffel, the same man who built the Eiffel Tower and with the same technique!

But you can't truly appreciate a city without being there don't you think?

Despite all this we still have great drunks who really live up the moods at some bars! Image

(this guy is nation wide famous! he always appears behind the guy who's intervewing fan's before or after FC Porto games)

Oh! Almost forgot it... For you sportheads and fans of soccer, hockey(10 yrs straight) and basketball, FC Porto is the current champion in all these sports and even won Europa League this year!

Oh boy... seem's like I went on a rampage didn't I?!
