Yeah, Sam Ash collects in FL. One of these days they'll all have to I guess. The way things are.

Have you been to the Sam Ash in Clearwater? i live about 5 minutes from it... it is CRAZY cool and HUGE. It is in what used to be a restaurant called "Kapok Tree". It is really a neat setting.

From now on, thanks to our new budget plan for California. Companies that do business in CA online that have 'affiliates' out here are required to charge sales tax. Amazon actually broke ties with all of it's CA affiliates based on the new laws stated in the budget, experts say that alone will lose CA more money than will be gained by the new tax laws. Look at amazon for musical equipment, and you may still be able to get one of the best prices on it and not have to pay the sales tax.

I only use Zz Sounds. I bought two of my 4 guitars from there and I can't complain. They offer the pay as play deal which is soooo useful considering money is very tight.

I think all the predictions are nothing different than we've been hearing for the last couple years. The budget comes out, people get mad make random predictions...we're still in debt...repeat cycle. The only reason this budget even came out on time this year is that the state controller said that nobody on the state senate would get paid until it came out. This is the first one that's been out on time in like 4 years...go figure.

Looks like I made my purchases (Mustang II, Squier CV 50s Strat) just in time on 7/4.
