Hi everyone,

So after searching for posts that could be related to my problem I finally decided to post my own.

Recently, I bought A californian strat from 97. I also bought a brand new Mustang I about 2 months ago.

Last week when I picked up my guitar to play, there was no sound...initially. After a few minutes the amp started to make a loud high noise (almost like an ambulance).
I went to the shop with my guitar, since it's from 97 and the amp is only 2 months old. But when they tested it in the shop there was no problem. They thought it was the cable (which I bought with the amp) and gave me a new one. I came home and it worked fine. But the next day same problem again but this time there is no sound. When I turn the volume up really high I can hear that there is a contact but barely a sound.
Does anyone have had similar problems or knows what this could be?
Right now, I am not able to play at all due to this and it's reaaaaally frustrating.

Thanks in advance,

I'd take them back to the shop if you're not sure what to look for, could be something loose, bad connection somewhere making and breaking as you move it about, best of luck
