I'm a huge surf music fan, and I know this guy pretty well

I've recorded quite a few surf instrumental, my latest one 'Surf Ohio' http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=10186837 was chosen for the 'Surf Ohio' website and forth coming compilation album.

I recorded it using a BOSS BR-800 recorder with my '66 Jazzmaster, a Cyber-Twin preset created by Gary Hoey for rhythm guitar, my '98 AmStd Strat, and my Squire P-Bass. The drum track was composed in the BR-800.

Cool Surf tune, Ray. Sounded good! Ya' know, I've been playing almost 40 yrs. and never got into Surf until about two years ago. Now I mess around with it quite a bit. Fun music to play.
You say there's "No Surf in Texas", but I'll tell you what..I've got some pretty fond memories of camping on "Matagorda Beach". Proposed to my wife there.

You've got me thinking about Surf Pearl and how it's so bloody hard to find.

Now I'm bummed out. :(

An annoyingly rare Fender colour. Available from the Custom Shop and for a short time on the 2002-2003 Hot Rodded Texas Specials...

Surf music is awesome. Nothing quite like Fender twang, a badass reverb and some loudness to bring happiness and white horses to your day!
