don't know how many dead fans out there.
been a fan since 68 or so
with that i have a question

"terrapin station" has been one of my faveorites for a long time. the other day on sirius i hears a version that had strings and a choir

anybody know what album it is from?

If you are talking about the original studio album, which does have orchestra and chorus on that song, the album is also titled Terrapin Station.

Never liked terrapin station. Only bit I liked was Estimated prophet. The rest was just far too prog for me.

i wasn't sure if there was more than one "orchestral" version of the song.

us old deadheads tend to forget things for some strang reason. just thought there may be other versions of the strings/brass backing.

recently saw our local symphony do led zep with a tribute band. maybe they'll take on the dead next :lol:

I'm becoming a bit of a dead head, only trouble is you can get very few of their albums here ,hell you can't even get cherry garcia, I got a greatest hits cd, and "acquired" a few albums online. Its just too bad I can't do the same with a carton of cherry garcia...
