As long as you listen to those early albums, there's no problem. The story goes that he wanted to call his new group Johnny Winter and the McCoys, but Derringer's old record company said that they owned the name and wouldn't give it up.

The And Live album is one of the best hunks of rock ever recorded.

Blues and Classic Rock fans didn't get liner notes in the '80s. :lol:

The Johnny Winter Live Album should be on everybody's Top 10 Guitar Albums list.
