Some of you may be wondering what's going on with my music room renovations-well they had to be put on hold. The better half decided that she was tired of our old kitchen cupboards and the wall in our kitchen so I had to put everything on hold 'til we got the cupboards put in and the whole kitchen/living room/dining area made into open concept. Anyway this should all be finished in about 3 weeks then I'll be able to get at the music room again. It seems that as long as there's a woman in the house things are never good enough unless the house is in some kind of tear-up for renovations.Sorry girls but many in my shoes would agree.

I ain't about to go bitchin' to the woman who has given me either a guitar, amp or other musical gear for the past 10 Christmases and birthdays. The secret of making a marriage work is a skillfull balancing act of give and take-she gives me a guitar-I take the wall and cupboards down-simple as that.

I remember them days, being the master of my own reality.
In truth, I wouldn't swap the quartet of estrogen that I face on a daily basis. But I remember the fun of single life.
I think you got it in the right order RS. Get the marriage bit done and dusted in your younger days.

My favorite quote fom one of my favorite TV characters of all time.

"Andy, when your dealing with a woman your dealing with a dangerous commodity"

Deputy Barney Fife, from the Andy Griffith show 1966.

It's not just women that think you're insane, Nevin. :P

We met a friend who owns 7 Telecasters. Now my wife looks at me somehow differently

Ah, I love him for telling her.

Cheers

My divorce was in '93. After that experience, I'll never try it again, either.
