We finally got a day where the weather doesn't cause chill blaines.The temp here today is 21C (72F) in the shade-the first time since last Aug.Regrettably my back is too bad today to go at my garden and do some much overdue weeding-maybe tomorrow if the weather holds out.

I found a young man and his wife that come around twice a month and cut and trim the place for only $50. a time. what a difference that little bit of help makes to an old guy. Next he's going to pressure wash my deck for
$25. and he uses all his own Gear.

I'm very touchy about who goes near my plants as some people(missus included)can't tell a weed from a proper plant.The Missus is out weeding today but calls me every now and then to verify what's weed and what's not.That's since 2 years ago when she went out with the weedeater and chopped off a young maple I had nursed back from near death and completely decimated my blackberry bushes.Needless to say I flipped out and invented some new compound words,so since then she won't as much touch a dandelion without consulting me.BTW since then every tree and bush is marked by flourescent tape.
