:( While wiping down my Tele today I noticed a line or small indentation in the finish that runs the full LENGTH of the front of the body. after carefull inspection I noticed two more just the same. I'm sure they are traces of where three pieces of wood were joined. Is It common to have such lines on an American Tele Wow I'm surprised? :(

Its no uncommon to be able to see the joint lines, I don't think. But I don't think there are a lot of 5 piece american bodies either.

I thought American bodies were 2-3 pieces. My mim is 6 or 7 LOL.

There's no maximum number of pieces used, depending on origin. What you find is that CS get first dibs on the wood, then production line.
Yes I can see the join line on my CS strat as well as my 57hotrod.

I don't know what the detail is with Ensenada's lumber. Whether they get it from Corona. Which I find unlikely. Or they have the spend limit stipulated by Corona and therefore use as much as possible.
