Hey guys I need some quick advice: a early Warwick Corvette bass has walked into our shop this week for consighnment.

by looking at it, I'm thinking maple body, mahogany neck, bolt-on, gold hardware, plays like a dream, very good condition. Its a Germany model. Its selling for $350. Should I get it?

I would love to post a pic, but since its for consignment and I'm an employee I don't think I'm allowed too...

My brother has a Warwick Corvette with active electonics. He paid around $1000 Canadian for it a few years ago. Its a nice bass, neck feels good. $350 sounds like a good deal.

For a price as good as that I wouldn't let it passby. If you are worried about the scruples of it why not contact the seller and tell him that you are an employee and you are prepared to pay his asking price,I'd bet that he'd be impressed by your integrity and sell it to you.Best of Luck.

Very cool. Next step now is that I need to convince my dad for letting me trade in my old bass for money... I think I'm going to pawn off my old ampeg too since I'm not going to be needing it much anymore (unless I can get a good price for my '94 Ibanez Expressionist)
