Grab your strat, set it on a clean tone, turn up the reverb a tad, and start playing along...

Train I ride, sixteen coaches long
Train I ride, sixteen coaches long
Well that long black train, got my baby and gone.

Train train, comin' 'round 'round the bend
Train train, comin' 'round 'round the bend
Well it took my baby, but it never will again.

Train train, comin' down down the line
Train train, comin' down down the line
Well it's bringing my baby, 'cause she's mine all mine.

{SOLO}

Train train, comin' 'round 'round the bend
Train train, comin' 'round 'round the bend
Well it took my baby, but it never will again.

I doubt any one of us could play this like Scotty Moore, due to the fact that we all don't have a big jumbo Gibson L5 hollow body. But still, this is an old chestnut to play around with on a clean Strat with a heavy dose of reverb. 8)

Yeah, it's a great song and here's my favorite version of it, done to terrific rockabilly standards by the incredible Brian Setzer!

That was by far the best cover of Mystery Train I've ever heard.

I've heard quite a few bands cover this, including me, but you're right about
Scotty's way of playin' it!!!
