I was putting together a new piece and challenged myself to keep it to a single progression that I could add a delayed version of the same "signal" to itself and still make it come out alright. :)

Here's a link to what i came up with, let me know if you've tried this before, and with what results.

yes, but they never do, and it's not a real 'mix', just the same tune played over on itself (lags by < ~1 sec)

surprising results! :wink:

I have done that now and then with vocal tracks - added another clone track, but step it back about 1/2 to 1/3 second. It really fills up the vocals and gives them a very interesting sound, especially on the old 50's tunes.

I've also taken the same original "signal" and cloned three additional onto it, similar delays, with same effect, haven't gone beyond four total though..., yet :wink:
