Too bad that you're not living here, there's a guy a mint FM 100 1/2 stack for $400.How much are Blues Jrs. going on your side of the pond?I guess for more than 250 Euros.Try looking into the new Mustangs or the Dec 3s etc.,Vox and Marshall make some nice hybrid amps that are very tubelike in their sound in the price range you're looking at. Also keep an eye open for your local classified ads etc. as sometimes bargains pop up in good used gear. The Laney you are looking at should be a good deal as they make pretty reliable gear and they put out a good sound too and that's what we all are seeking in the long run.
