hey guys well here is the situation well as you guys know i'm currently working on a new guitar project... at the same time i joined a band (the process came faster than i thought) well anyways after i joined it came to my attention that i am missing quite a bit of gear (here is where the thing gets kinda farfetched) i know it sounds like another GAS attack but it's actually pure logic... i'm missing a decent amp (as i posted a while back) and a decent acoustic guitar for me to play live... on the other hand i already have the humbucker ( i guess i could save it for another year or so) and i think i could use a humbucker guitar considering the noise single coils do while distorted (i could use the me-70 to supress the noise i guess but it wouldn't be the same thing) which should i get?

You need a new pocket comb and some argyle socks.

If you're playing out live, get a reliable stage-worthy amp first.

Like Arjay said, get a good roadworthy amp. Not a Hot Rod, a Mustang or a VM. Get a rock solid professional amp. A great guitar will still produce asstone through a cheap or mediocre sounding amp.

1. amp
2. electric
3. acoustic

You could flip-flop numbers 2 and 3 if you feel the acoustic would get a lot of use. If it's something that would only be played a little bit, you even could go on eBay and get a used acoustic simulator pedal (like the Boss AC-3). But I agree that a solid, stageworthy amp should be your first priority! Doesn't matter what you're playing if you can't be heard...
