Today its going to be delicious:
1 1/4in thick Rib Steak:
Rub with Montreal Steak Rub: By McCormick
Pa-Pa's Camp Corn:
Peal back the husk to expose the corn, pull out the silk, rub with butter, salt, pepper and replace the husk.
Get your grill good and hot put your corn right on the grill.
Now get your Steaks and put them on the grill 8min on each side a little more or less depending on your preference.
Keep an eye on your meet so it doesn't catch fire.
I keep a squirt bottle filled with water for such occasions. :( 8) You might save the meet.
The corn and meet will get done at the same time Mmmmm :!: Good.
Serve with a nice fresh green Salad and your favorite dressing. :)

Tonight its going to be some delicious Asian Stile marinated Chicken:
I'm using nice big thys , That's our favorite.
In a corning wear 9x9 dish arrange your chicken peaces what ever you like. Mix a cup of your favorite Asian marinade, I use kecoman Asian stir fry and oyster sauce about 50-50 and poor over the chicken. put it in the fridge for a bout 2hrs.
Now fix up some Asian stir fry vegetables sprinkle them with sesame oil and soy set aside.
Get your grill Hot- Hot- Hot. put your vegetables in a cast iron skillet and put them on the grill.
Now put your chicken parts on the grill Close the cover and keep a close eye on them so they don't get burned Remember the chicken takes a while to cook through so take your time remember the squirt bottle, Use it, stir the veges and let them brown up
This is a very PROACTIVE COOK so don't drop the ball and you will be very happy with the results.

----Danny,

I cook my burgers on a flat iron grill, and at the end of cooking when I put the cheese on I throw a hand full of ice on the grill around the burgers and cover it with the lid from a frying pan. Makes the cheese melt nicely.

(PORK SHOULDER) Bone In, and Corn on the cob. With new potatoes. and Mushroom Gravy. Season your meat with Salt-Black Pepper-Garlic powder and Italian Seasoning.
Get out your big saute pan and get it hot with a little cooking oil
I've got a 4lb. shoulder, brown it up on all sides.
Add about 2cup's of water and 1cup of Apple juice.
Add 2med. onions and several stalks of celery.
When you get it boiling good elevate it on some kind of a rack to keep it off the direct heat.
Let it cook with a lid for about an hr.
Add as many small potatoes as you will eat and some corn on the cob as many as you need.
now its time for your Mushrooms as you like.
cover and let cook for another 1 1/2hr.
Use the liquid for your gravy.
Now its time to EAT. :) :) :) Don't forget your ice Tea.

pulled pork Sandwiches from last nights left over pork roast.
Get out your leftover pork roast, take a couple of forks and shred up the meat get rid of the fat :)
In a large enough bowl small chop some sweet onion and roasted red peppers.
Add your shredded meat.
Now add 1 bottle of your favorite barbecue sauce and mix it all up.
If you have a favorite bread use it, I us a toasted hoagie roll.
Load up enough meat to create a big sloppy sandwich. You can heat it up if you want. Cut in two peaces and serve with your favorite potato salad or something, and a big. glass of ice tea. :)

Last night was ridiculous and not what I intended for this thread, My sincere Apologies  .
Tonight its a pot of Lentils.
Get out your big soup pot and add about 6tbl.sp. of oil and heat to med.
Chop up a 1/2lb. of Bacon.
Also chop one large onion and 3 stalks of celery.
Add your bacon and brown. Now add your onion and celery.
In a colander/strainer rinse 1lb. of Lentils.
Now add 2cps. of Apple juice and about 2 qts of water, bring to a boil.
Now add your lentils and season to taste with salt, pepper garlic powder and Italian seasoninfg.
Elevate from direct heat and simmer with a lid for 45 to 50min.
Serve hot with baskets or some kind of good bread. very good. :) :)
----Danny,
Lentils are much faster than dried beans because there is no need to presoke them. Just open rinse and cook. :)
