Three ties with wife, right now.

A takeaway goat cheese, figs and proscuitto "organic" pizza from the local whole foods (really, it's great).

"Burrito as big as your head" from an outstanding Mexican takeaway, neaby.

"A #1 Greek paltter from that etnicity's similar establishment to #2.

Beans are always better the second time around. :)

I love the looks of your Beer-Can Chicken and Ribs. What kind of a rub do you use? And do you use the same one for most everything?

I have a basic one for pork & beef:
1/4 cup paprika, not the cheap stuff, but real paprika like Szeged paprika http://www.amazon.com/Szeged-Sweet-Paprika-Powder-Oz/dp/B0012690UC. I can buy mine locally.

1/4 cup brown sugar

2 Tbsp each, garlic powder, cumin, chili powder & dried oregano

Lawry's Seasoned Salt and fresh ground pepper to taste (usually 1/3 cup ea)

for chicken, I add:
2 Tbsp sage
2 Tbsp ground cinnamon

I mix both and store in glass bottles.

One smokin' tip I have is to pre-soak your wood chips overnight, drain the next day, put the chips in a ziplock bag & put in the freezer, this way you always have chips soaked for smokin'/grilling. I have apple, hickory, and mesquite chips already soaked all ready for the grill.

Today I made paella:

OMG Tony, that paella looks so good!
I had a big plate of fried clams (whole clams, not those bogus friggin' strips) and fries. Didn't cook them myself, they were takeout but the best in the city.

Today I cooked up a Pork Roast:
4lb. Blade cut
In a large saute pan add a little oil add your roast and brown all over
Season with salt pepper, onions, Garlic, Celery, Bay leaf, A pinch of Cuman, 6 Carats. Add 1-1/2 cup Water cover and let simmer on moderate indirect heat for about 3hrs. check to make sure it dose not boil dry, depending on your heat you may need more watter. When its done remove contents and use liquid for gravy if you want. I also cooked up some sweet potatoes and corn on the cob. :)
I spent most of my day buying a new guitar. :D
