Found a used strat on Craigslist. Stratocaster MIM 50's reissue in Daphne Blue with beautiful maple neck and fretboard. It played like butter and sounded wonderful and was in excellent shape. Owner stated that it was a 2009. Looks brand new. He is asking 400 clams.

Is this a good deal?

Please advise........

It sounds a bit steep for me.See if he'll drop it to $350 or even $325.

Are you talking about a 50's Classic? 400 might not be bad for one of those. The stock pickups are trebly. I put noisless in mine. It sounds very good. I used it to record with on a few tracks.

The "V" neck is my favorite thing about this guitar.
