Tim: Sad thing to here, But as time passes so do the things that we love. Fortunately time also helps to take away some of the pain. your Precious Steve will remain in your hart forever. As will the memories of good times now past. My hart goes out to you and your Family. Think of him on his bike on a sunny California afternoon. Your Forum Friend----Danny,

Tim,so sorry to find out that Steve lost his brave battle,he has gone to a place where life is eternal and pain and worry free.I know that a lot of people don't feel that way and feel that death is final but it is just a doorway to a better life and even non-believers who had enriched the lives of others during their own lives will go there too.Be thankful for having your dear cousin around to enrich your life and take comfort in the fact that he has gone on to eternal life that is far different and more beautiful than the one that we know.My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Derek

Thanks everyone. Steve was a cool dude and first and foremost he was a guitar man. I got my first real electric guitar from him for pulling a bunch of weeds in his yard. It's still hard to believe that he's not gonna be here anymore. He's been such a figure in this family for so long.

So...We had a memorial service for Steve this past Saturday. Many of us shared memories of Steve, and lot's of good music that he had enjoyed was played, then we had many of his favorite foods afterward. We are all on the path to healing, and even Mary was able to smile a little bit. He's still missed, and will always be in our hearts.
