Did anyone go watch their district finals last Thursday night? I went to ours and the competition is getting tougher. Seven really good players. Not one of them screwed up. Just good blues all the way around. The winner was a young guy from Palmdale CA. Good looking, lots of confidence, stage presence and attitude in his playing. I'm expecting to see him in the finals. He played a Telecaster to one of the shuffle backing tracks, but managed to add some shades of Jimi to it. He's going to be tough to beat.
