RIP MR.Falk : He was one of my all time favorites. I loved the characters he played on "Elliot Ness", usually a cheap thug or a truck driver/dock worker. Not to mention the all time grate "Columbo". He also played well on the Giant Screen, "The Princess Bride"1987 - "Wings Of Desire"1987 & many others. The Reality of it is, there is no one to take the place of these older great ones that are leaving us. :( :(

I never missed one episode of that dishevelled looking genius Colombo.Peter Falk was absolutely brilliant playing the apparently bumbling clumsy detective who in reality was a crime solving genius. Thanks for keeping us entertained for all these years Mr. Falk.

The best TV detective! He was pretty good in films too.
