I still can't believe it... I am devastated.

I left it in my garden office and it was taken from there. They must have climbed over the fence and then left through the garden gate.

I still have the tags with the serial number. I have reported it to the police but what else can I do to try to locate it? No doubt, the people who stole it would have no clue as to its model and value, so they will just try to flog it for some easy cash. Where should i be looking? I tried on ebay uk, but it's not there. Any advice?

If you guys have craigslist in the UK look there as well. I'm sorry to hear about your guitar being stolen.

dude i should note my guitar's serial numbers and probably have some "battle scar" information on them too... i haven't remembered to do this yet thanks good luck finding the guitar... i suggest you post the serial number and the model here and in any other forum you're in luckily someone will find it ebay is a good idea and every other auction site and classified site the UK has plus check every pawn shop and music store around your area maybe not sure but you should put some flyers around street market/ flea market areas

Did they take just your guitar, or was other stuff taken? If they just took the guitar, then it could be they knew it was there, so that would sound like local guys and they specifically targeted that when they broke into your office.
You haven't supplied us with too much information but if I were you I might consider guys that knew you had a guitar. They climbed a fence to get it, perhaps you should think about guys you know and knew you played.
Very sorry to hear about this but you may have to be your own detective here and keep the police well in the loop.

+2...I agree with Rhumba...If all they took was your guitar and it wasn't sitting in plain view from someone walking past your property it may have been someone who's seen it already. Have you been showing it off to people? Maybe someone that had a strong reaction to it? It's sad to say that there really is no way of knowing who may have taken it, but consider everything. Including people you trust.

They took other stuff too. They took cash from my wallet, cameras and my PS3. And it all happened while we were sleeping next door!

Still not convinced the guitar wasn't the main target, the other stuff is easily lifted on the way out. Suspect everyone for the moment, you might soon get some leads.

All the boys and girls have given you good advise, I'm putting my money on a neighbor or an acquaintance that may have been there once with a friend. Think of Ho's out of work, has a Drug habit. or maybe even an employee, dose anyone come in and clean? Really do some thinking on this one. Not Cool.
