"I'm thinking about getting a cheap backup, maybe a Mexican or a Korean model, and I'll just use this one at home"

"I let the other guitarist in my band use her last night."

"I think I need to upgrade some of her parts...I would be a lot happier if I did!"

"I tightened the ___________, adjusted the ___________ and got a guy to set her up for me...and man, it feels great!"

Just chuck her in the back of the car; I'll give her a workout later.

Do you like her roadworn body?

You could use a credit card to scrape that crud off her neck.

    Her puppies rock.

    My knob's fallen off.

I gave her a bit of whammy and... wow! She wailed like a banshee.

She has plenty of bottom end.

I'm not going to speculate which of these would please or displease my wife...

Cheers - C

She's not alone.

I think this thread should also be wide open to our fellow female Forum users to post equivalent remarks regarding men. It might do us good to be made aware of the horrible truth, at least.

Cheers - C

Shes heavier than my other one, and her neck is fatter.

Her truss needs adjusting.

Will probably need some bridgework.

Sometimes she sounds like a real hard-tail.

I love the worn spots on the front of her neck.

She's an old one, but still works pretty well.

It rattles if you shake her.

It's a bit too shrill, so I think I'll dip it in wax and see if it sounds better that way.

I love how she changes colors depending on how the light is hitting her.

...Oh no, wait: that last is something I say about my wife, not my gear. :|

I think I'm gonna change out her knobs.

I don't like that body shape very much.

I need a noise supressor...this thing's just too noisy and too much static.

I wish I could re-wire her so she would do more things and make different sounds.

She's got some nicks and dents but she's still responsive

Tuning her up is dodgy in humid weather.
