Some Fralin's would be nice, but I like Texas Specials in a strat myself. Not sure whether I've played anything with the 69's yet. Maybe the pups are just set up different than you like at the moment. :?:

well, my other 69's dont sound like these. these sound like crap. i wonder if they have been swapped?

That's always a possibility. Pups are such an easy mod to do that I don't think I'd let that stop me from buying the guitar.

yeah but the price to put the real ones back in is expensive.
might as well buy new with a warranty.
