Did anyone else catch Carolyn Wonderland on Austin City Limits this last Saturday? I have heard her named mentioned by our Texas friends here, but was not really familiar with her work. I was impressed, very good player, singer, songwriter - a total package. Great right hand playing technique. Also had a beautiful (walnut?) Thinline Tele in her arsenal. I would definitely like to catch a live performance.

If it is the same show, I saw that maybe 2 years ago. Absolutely had my jaw on the floor, just blew me away...

I've gotten to see her several times live, she's great. Missed her on ACL, but I'll keep my eyes open for reruns.

I just checked her out on YouTube, My God, She is the real deal. I've never seen her before but from now on, I'm sure she will be one of my favorite's. Thanks for sharing.

Darn, missed that one, I'll have to keep an eye out for another showing. Been listening to her for years. Her phrasing and vocals remind me a lot of Janis Joplin, and she's a helluva player.
