That's an impressive feet...er, feat.

Actually, that's really amazing.

I took a girl to the prom who only had one leg. She had a go-cart accident when she was younger. She was good looking and smart, and seldom did anybody make a comment about her leg (apart from the odd pirate joke).

Anyway, she asked me to take her, because we were friends and she had just broken up with her boyfriend. We danced all night and had a great time. But later in the evening I noticed she seemed quite a bit taller than I remembered. I commented on that and she said, "Yeah, while we were dancing, every you spun me around, my wooden leg came unscrewed another notch."

there have been a lot of stories like this that have come out here lately.
amazing power to deal with the cards that they have been delt.
when i was a kid there was a show called "Thats Incredible". these people would have made the show for sure. i miss that show too. there were some amazing people on there
with physical disabilities, but they were not limited by them. these people are nothing short of amazing to me.

BTW, that story is a joke...I thought everybody would realize that, but somebody quoted me.

I didn't even go to my prom; I didn't want to be around most of those people when I was forced to (during school hours) so why would I pay money and rent a tux and all that crap in order to be around them again?

There was a guy in my brother's graduating class that had a prothesis below the knee. When we would go roller skating he'd put a skate on it, pop it off and send it rolling across the floor, then hop on his other leg yelling, "Hey! Come back!" (that is a true story, unlike my previous tale).
