third i'd like to be the second portuguese guitarrist to get a signature model

(once again i wanted to be the first (luckly i'll be the first to get one from fender hahahahah) but remember the guy i mentioned earlier? well he gets to have these under his name)

I don't want fame. I'd like to write a really popular one hit wonder and live off the royalties. Then I'll be on one of those "Where are they now?" tv shows.

I just want time to record, rehearse and perform (live) with my band on a regular basis.

I don't want to be famous...a little respect is nice, but fame is a burden to all but the vapid and the arrogant.

It would be nice to be more comfortable financially, but being rich isn't all it's cracked up to be...it would be nice to be able to get a new instrument or amp every once in a while, but it's just one more "thing" to keep track of...of course, I just moved after living in the same house for 20 years, so any type of streamlining and simplifying holds a huge attraction for me right now.

I don't really care what people think about my playing (or at least I don't care very much  ). Most non-musicians think I'm a pretty good player; a guitarist can tell you what I'm doing "wrong"...I can tell those same guitarists where to "stick it"

I would like to get as much credit for my guitar playing as I do for my harmonica playing...but I understand that I have a degree of talent on the latter instrument that I don't have on the former. Plus, fewer people play harp, so it stands out more.

I want to be able to play better on all the instruments I play, which I work on regularly.

I wish I could play the piano and the mandolin. I just don't have time right now to add any rehearsal time in for those two instruments.

I think that musical fame and fortune have passed me by, But it would still be possible to have people remember my music and writing as being very important in my life. And to have been inspirational in some musical way to my grand kids. :)

I feel the same way...Like I was meant to play the harp. The guitar I have to really work at, but I consider myself pretty good but not a professional on the guitar. The harp is a totally different story.I was meant to play that instrument for sure.

Y'know, it's weird. Playing harp is kinda like singing...you can either do it or you can't.

You can get better at it (as with anything you practice and learn new wrinkles), but it seems with that one instrument that it has to be inborn.

I've seen guys that could play anything they put their hands on just flabbergasted by the harmonica...and yet I was able to put out some tasty little licks the first time I ever picked one up (not bragging, just stating the facts  )...maybe it's the beauty and genius of an uncluttered mind  .

The only musical dream I want to see come true is for my hands to heal and become pain and fatigue free.Fame and fortune can wait and will no doubt come when I can get back gigging again lol.But seriously just as long as my hands can get good enough to get gigging again I'll be satisfied.

I would like to be well respected among fellow guitarists and fans. I think it would be really fun to be famous, I would just screw with the paparazzi and press all the time, and be super laid back.

If being a musician was my main career I would like to be comfortable off as well, i.e not living out of squalor.

Most of all though, I want to always enjoy the music I play.

I've long since given up on being in the next Bad Religion or Social Distortion, now I want to operate a label that helps out up and comers, keep people from making the same mistakes I did way back when.

Mostly, I just want to play music until the day I die

My uncle was one of the three who wrote 'Blueberry Hill". I wish he and my dad had been on better terms as brothers. Unfortunately, they were not. Had it been otherwise, he might have served as a valuable mentor and friend.

Oh this is easy, get the opportunity to play onstage with Eric Clapton...and not embarrass myself while doing so

...screw fame, I have a good life, although I would like to play in a band again, just for fun and not to be the "The Next Big Thing" :!: :!: :!:
