I only have 75 posts here, because I mostly read and enjoy the forum and have little or no reason to post.
There are other corporate forums where I have 2500+posts because i'm often helping solve problems that arise w/the products of the forum owners.

Over the past few weeks i've made an effort to note whats different between these forums, and one thing I noticed immediately is the lack of use of the following phrases (and others) here on "Forum-F"

This forum seems to be much more directed to topics such as "got my new (insert guitar) and it's GREAT"
Other forums seem to be more about "my new (insert guitar) arrived today and it needs work, shame for a brand new high $ geet to arrive in this state".

Here are some conspicuously absent phrases, that seem to dominate elsewhere.....
broken headstock
warped/twisted neck
truss-rod loose/not working/broken
tuners won't hold
non-existant fret finishing/end finishing
bargain basement electronics
must replace electronics immediately
pickup not working'
p'ups sound horrible
bridge rattling/un-useable/won't intonate
sub-par body finish
Edit: left out the ever popular....name the mystery body wood(s).....
is it SUPPOSED to look/be like this?

I know that nothing is perfect, but I sure wish i'd given Fenders a "fair shake" 30 years before I did !
But, now a whole new world has opened up to me !!

Well, I've been spending way too much time on this Forum in the last six to eight months and going through your list I think I've heard (or read) almost every one of those missing phrases. Of course, many of them are new members who drop in briefly to rant a bit and then fade away and then there are those who come on the same way, but with a huge chip on their shoulder when they discover that most of the people on this Forum don't want to join them in bashing Fender products.

From the first days I started playing my Silvertone guitar through a Heathkit amp I dreamed of owning and playing Fender gear. It took a while, but I'm there and then some. There have been some substandard Fender products through the years, but I've never, ever thought of parting with my Fender guitars (19) or amps (17).
