 This women is a trainsmash...... what sort of management let's her get like that on her first night on her comeback tour after suffering huge addiction problems???? I mean she is a multiple million dollar business and this is how it's run??? I don't get it??? What a disgusting waste of opportunity....

It's a tragedy. So much talent going down the drain.

Look, this was the concert: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G_w-93QCSGU

I'd be surprised if this was only alcohol.

lol shes always been one of thee nastiest chic ive seen, skin and bone.
like mike above said, stubstance abuse what a waste.
tour companies and promotion companies need to start charging the bands/artist
for crap like this. this is a business and should be treated like one.
the old ways are gone. you show up and screw up like this, you get fined.
yeah sure it was always fun to see and know your guys up on stage were trashed
but when it gets to the point like this where its really just emarassment...........

man - i hope those people got their money back.

i remember seeing her in "the stratocaster chronicles." i think she sang some jazz type stuff, and actually was pretty good.

you can see the fans were excited to see her at first, but wow- what a mess

And she was so talented once, what a waste. I don't think there is anything else you can say, apart from she seriously needs help. Her close frinds, if she has any, have got to take control.

+1

I have her "Frank" recording and it could be the best I've ever heard from her.

Yeah Mike, when she was good, she was fantastic and an outstanding performer.
What is it? What happens to some of these people? Is there instability right from the beginning? They can only go so far and then everything crashes?
We've been around long enough to see this happen to so many and it's always sad to witness. Martians comment echoes something we've been hearing for such a long time, that thin line between genius and madness. Is that what it comes down to?.....maybe.
The agony of the artist, reverberates down the centuries.

It's a pity how she has destroyed herself. She has aged 25 years (hard years at that) in less than five.

She used to be so talented (I love her neo-retro-early 60s soul sound)...and her fashion sense was so cool before the drugs laid waste to her mind and body.

For anybody who thinks drugs are harmless or cool*, here's a cautionary tale, for sure...I just hope she pulls out of it before she dies.

*...and don't give me that crap about "I only smoke a little pot..."; That's how she started out, too.

very well said SA, thats how it started out with me too yrs ago. a lil weed here and there.
then suddenly here and there got closer and closer until it became, weed, here or there, then it was down hill after that.

ive never listened to her music until today. i found some older youtube stuff.
i dont know what style music that is but she was pretty good too.
had that lazy lounge kinda feel to it.

Obviously a sick woman, not a bad woman just sadly out of control. Probably on her way to doom. The same thing has been going on sense it all began. There names are on the wall in the Hall of fame. :( :(
