Well, it's official. I'm doing the live webcast thing with Bobby Mack tonight. :D Apparently the audio and video from last time turned out horribly and he invited me back to do a couple of songs and hopefully this time it'll come out okay. It starts at 9:30 Central Time (in roughly two hours from now) and I'm most likely going to play towards the end of the first set. Probably not again after that. The other guests tonight will be John McVey and Van Wilks from Austin.

Here's where to watch,

I think I'm going to break out the red Highway One Strat tonight, my Squier's frets are still not doing so well.

Thanks! I think that vintage Super Reverb I got to play through helped the sound out a bit. ;) I really love those things.

Since the audio and video are way better this time I should be getting a copy of it later. As soon as I do it's going to be youtube'd. :D

The computer's been in the shop. We basically had all the hard drives fail. The people fixed whatever was going wrong and saved all but the main hard drive. So I'm kind of in limbo computer-wise until that hard drive is either recovered or pronounced dead. We thought we had it backed up, but apparently it didn't work.

In other words, I can't burn any CDs or upload any videos right now.

Nice job, tuned in around 11 here in NY, you were just going on. Tough to get up there with some old vets but you sounded great. Looked like a fun night, keep it up  by the way, red looks good on ya, is the Highway 1 much different from your Squire?

Yes, it definitely is. The Squier has a much narrower nut width, narrower string spacing and a chunkier neck. The Highway One's neck is wider and flatter. I actually prefer the Squier neck wise. The Squier's body in thinner too, which makes it comfortable, but a pain to find a replacement tremolo block for. The Squier also has a secret weapon, Texas Specials, which make it sound awesome. :D The Highway One might end up with a set of them someday too.
