Heya gents (and lassies), I had a question for all of you out there. I was curious as to what be the most popular finish that most people prefer. Doesn't matter if you play guitar or bass, just let me know your favorite. Ok, and have at it.

While it's a nice thought, it's just not true.

Geddy Lee, I have his bass. Chris Squire. Most people wouldn't have a clue as to who he is. The most notable people in most bands is either the lead singer or lead guitar player. Those are the ones people remember. Sorry man, I'm a rhythm guitarist and I'm not crazy about it either....but thats just what people remember.

Bands have more than one member, and I think they all contribute equally and should be recognized as such. Whats a band without a drummer, bass player, lead guitarist, or singer for that matter ? A band should be looked at as one unit not individuals, because everyone together makes the unique sound each band produces.

It takes a dynamic group of people.... look at Aerosmith.... they are such a different group of people. A lead player and a singer are usually the show boaters where the bass player are more low key as a whole. now there are always exceptiions to the rule ie. Les Claypool. But every band to really make it has to have a good mixture of personalities to work

ok now. i just put that as somethin to have a while ago. but i agree that a band is a whole and not just one person, no matter how much they showboat around. i think Zeppelin is a great example of whats already been said by you guys.

Some of my favorites are not on the list. How about:
Chrome Blue, Chrome Red, Surf Green, Daphne Blue, and Grafitti Yellow to name a few.

Sunburst and Black are classic. How about Candy Apple Red, Shoreline Gold, and Inca Silver.

It was hard to pick between Candy Cola and Seafoam Green but since I have a Candy Cola Strat I picked that.

Lake Placid Blue wasn't an option, so I went with "other."
