A solid color would look even sharper on these guitars since the body wood is a little lackluster visually.

I have honestly never seen anything but sunburst in stores with these models.

I've only seen them in sunburst as well. That olympic white is sharp, especially with the anodized guard.

And the Olympic White 50s has a gold anodized pickguard? And I am just learning this now? This is so much win. I would be all over that in a heartbeat. Very cool.

Drop an EMG DG-20 pickguard into that baby or the Fiesta Red job and you'll find yourself comfortably numb.

Nevin,
Just to let you know there is a LPB classic vibe Squier Strat w/ maple neck hanging on the wall at my local Mom and Pop. They've had it about 5 mos. I played it and was impressed with it. The other colors are out there.

I am going to have a hard time changing much on this guitar.... this thing is blowing my mind. I am tempted to leave it at this. I spent a few minutes tweaking the setup and it is on par with the best guitars I have. My mind is blown.

If it ain't broke don't fix it. Sounds like your pretty much there. Though I've not tried one, the little '59 get great reviews. Maybe some black knobs and pup covers to match?

Hi Nevin,

Nice score mate. The CV squire I played had me second guess my CP60's Strat.

I say you give it a Big Hairy Wiring upgrade...

Just kidding :D

Maybe a blend pot or a push/pull for 7 sound switching? T'is a nice cheap and effective mod that one.

Andy

Whoa whoa whoa, backitupbackitup...

What, pray tell, is this..?

Seek and ye shall find....
