To all those who took the time to write letters of protest against the development of mansions on our pristine beachfront ,thanks again.The council met last night and astoundingly despite protests from the majority of townspeople plus over 1000 letters worldwide decided to OK the project.As I was leaving the chambers I shouted to them that they should be ashamed and that they weren't fit to run a kid's lemonade stand. Thank God I had notified the media and that they were there to get it all on record as nobody would believe that such a bunch of myopic,obtuse cretins could run a town council.I have gone on the Help Us Save Ragged Beach,Witless Bay FB site and asked that we start a campaign to have a government inquiry into this as there is definitely some skullduggery going on.
