Well, not sure how it's going to work with the ex, but I've written two more songs since, and I'm not slowing down just yet. Nothing like a little heartbreak to get the creative juices going again. Some of you guys might remember the YouTube videos I posted here a couple years back, and, now that I've found myself with quite a bit more free time, it's back to it.

Here are two more songs I've written over the past week. I'm looking for feedback. What you like, what I could do better, what the songs need lyrically/musically, whatever. Constructive criticism (which I got a lot of here) is why I'm a better songwriter now than I was when I started, and I don't intend to stop improving.

So here are a couple new songs. Lemme know what you think guys!

Mmmmk.

Gear:
Guild GAD-30- a great guitar for the price, or any price, for that matter. I love its sound and the playability of the ultra wide neck- makes fingerpicking much easier, especially for people with really long fingers like me.
MXL 4000 on vocals- An entry-level condenser mic, but still possible to get a damn good sound with a little EQ-ing, some reverb, a condenser, etc.
AKG Perception 200 on guitar- See above.
Lexicon Lambda interface- Not bad for the money, pretty good pre-amps. Just wish I could record more than two tracks at once with it.
