Sorry this isn't Clash related  just a heads up for our members in and around London. Guitarguitar are opening a branch in the big smoke, they're big on Fender gear 8) From what I can gather, they have an area in the store for Custom Shop gear. It will be well worth a visit, if nothing else. I often go in to the Glasgow store, just to drool  Opens 18th June, give me a shout if you manage in. This isn't an advert, I don't work for them or anything. But I have dealt with them in the past, nice people to deal with. Their prices are usually decent too 8)

My bank balance already hates me and I promised my woman a trip to London at some point over summer.

I hate you. :P

Hi Snowman ,have'nt been here in a while but I saw your post. I think its great Fender is getting more representation in London. I hope our friends there support the new business. Myself have'nt been out music store browsing in a long time. Still playing every sunday at the cafe. Found a teacher that will teach for food, he jams with us alot as well. Rock on bro ,miss hanging on the forums but time is a luxury these days.

Gratz I'm a little upset that you're too busy to participate as much as you once did. I am ecstatic that you're making a few quid though mate. 8)
Will teach for food eh? Thats a new one, I may try it out. A big placard round my neck proclaiming "will go away for food".

Snowman.
GuitarGuitar is a great place. They have one in Birmingham, the stock seems to be endless. Everything you want, they have two of. Everything you don't want, they have two of that too.

BSG,
Man it's good to see you posting here, I know how busy the restaurant keeps you though bro. Yep this is great news for Fender, GG has always promoted them well. This is where I got the Gilmour Strat 8) I'll mail you later this evening, say hi to J from me.

Nik,
You're spot on amigo, GG has a great stock in every store. And if by chance they didn't have what you're after, they will get it in no time.

It's like old times here, Gratz and Niki on the same thread

That's almost incentive to make a trip across the pond. One of our airlines is offering flights to Gatwick for just $199 and I've always wanted to visit the land of my forebears.......I wonder....

I visit the Glasgow one whenever I can. It's a [*]really nice store. They have a lot of epiphone and gibsons, and I thought that for the size of store they didn't have very many production fenders. Downstairs they have quite a few custom shops, as well as artist models. I really like the shop and just wish there was one a little bit closer to me.
