This one gets asked about periodically and I felt that since I was in gear mode lately it would be a good time to add it. Fortunately Davide English, one of the Elvis forum people had done a lot of the photo reasearch already.

Check it out at http://scottymoore.net/NY_D18.html and hit the "like" button if you have facebook.

Thanks,
Jim

Hey James....the other day I was browsing youtube for songs from a friend of mine, blues singer Tracy Nelson, and came across a video interview of her and Scotty Moore,I thought about you and figured you had seen it...have you?
In it they talk about an album she did and Scotty playing guitar on some of it.

I can't say I've seen that particular one but I've met Tracy a few times. She's on several of Scotty's CDs and is a great freind of his. They go back to the early '70s when he produced or engineered an album for her with a band called Mother Earth.

Yeah Tracy is cool, she goes way back to the California scene of the late '60s with Mother Earth, and one thing about her,you definitely know where you stand with her. :D
in that interview they talk about Scotty picking up the guitar after a long period of not playing and doing a track or two....when I get home from work I'll find it and link to it.

I wouldn't be surprised to find out it was from a planned documentary about the making of their "All the King's Men" CD. She does a track on it. We have some of the clips online here http://scottymoore.net/video.html but not hers. Most of that material was bought by a partner of the guy that was "producing" it at the time who by some accounts mismanaged a few things much to the dismay of Scotty and DJ and has since fallen out of good graces.
