I've been watching this team through thick and thin since I was 10 years old...and now, we finally got a Championship!!

...and Mark Cuban did something classier than I thought he could--he let the trophy be presented to Don Carter, who founded the franchise...good for you, Mark.

Also not a basketball man, but this is the type of slap-in-the-face which Lebron James had coming for leaving Cleveland.

It makes it that much sweeter that they beat the Miami Heat, because of (1) the meltdown loss of the team during the 2006 Finals...to the Heat (that was the Mavs own fault, no excuses!) and (2) because any time Lebron James loses, we all win...no matter what team we root for!

I guess the Mavs took their talent to South Beach, too...except they used theirs! :twisted:

the dfw area is buzzing today. what a great run by a great team. we've waited a long time for this. we are very proud of our mavs. job well done.
i believe miami underestimated this team. i don't know. they seemed to throw in the towel in the last 2 minutes. i could not believe it.

are you kdding me? burleson is a great town and we do alot of work there. i was born in grand prairie and i live in euless. although i don't care for the big city these days, this is my stomping ground. mavs, cowboys, rangers and the stars are the teams we follow and support. we will celebrate the mavs title with pride and class. this team deserves it.
i can't say it enough. we are very proud of this mav team.
