My Wife and I are getting ready to go to our oldest Granddaughter Emma's, second annual Ballet Recital. It's being held in Madden Bauer Hall in Bellevue, WA. A very nice Venue. She will be 5 in august. Very exciting for us.

Hope you enjoy it Danny. I got roped into a few of those for daughters. They can be a surprising amount of fun.
A bass player in one of my old bands daughter turned down Cambridge University for a spot at the Royal School of Ballet.

Little kids rock and anything to do with the arts is very cool. The School is the international School of Ballet. They are about the best there is around here.

The Armadillo Child took a couple of years of "Mommy and Me" (beginner tap, ballet and jazz) dance lessons...when the Lady Armadillo got extremely ill (due to endometriosis) I attended the classes with Child.

At first I felt foolish, but then I realized I didn't care; I got to share something that was important to my daughter, and she realized that it was something special to have her Daddy involved ( none of the other dads would do it, and some of the other little girls thought it wasn't fair that their daddies weren't "cool enough" to go to class and dance with them). 8)

I did refuse to wear proper attire, so all the pics (which will not be posted here) show women with their 3 and 4 year old little girls in leotards and dance shoes, and one big doofus in jeans and boots...

...on the plus side, I learned how to tap dance.

BTW, congrats to your grand daughter, Danny.

Since you're a Duke, is she a little Duchess? :?
