See thats exactly what I need. That guitar, lose a couple o stone, grow my hair long and get rid of the grey. Dust the old bikers leather off, get a 5ft long guitar strap.

Get playing some of this.

I'd like to compare the two, I've heard good reviews on both the Eastwood and Hallmark, they're coparable prices. I love the blue on the Hallmark though, especially.

Mosrite is not gone.

And in this opinion, the Mosrite Mk I and Combo Mk I are two of THE FINEST, most under-appreciated guitars which have ever been created.

Again, in this opinion, a Mk I (Ventures Model is a subset) to a Mustang...a Mustang is a nice new Ford Focus...

...the Mk I a Ferrari Testarosa.

The MOsrites you see today are owned and run by #$@*&!% Ed Roman, a liar, thief and idiot who brags about making "fabulous fakes"

No personal beef with Mr. Roman or his store in the glory days, quite the contrary, very complimentary of multiple experiences, but that's way off topic, for sure.

Strong recommendation on Mosrite-talk and for educated feedback, walk your fingers to the excellent Mosrite Forum and read and hang around a little. There are a gob of modern Mosrite-shaped and sounding options, tho Mr. Semie Moseley moved on to the next realm about 2 decades ago, so, the options are "in his spirit."

And current Mosrite-oid options are of WIDE price and quality range, so pay attention. You can score a Dillion for less than a $K and tweak it into a serious player, or look harder at Hallmark, Eastwood, and Roman-Mosrite. There are even some being made "under supervision" of a Moseley family member. And you can have Jazzmaster or P-90 pups rewound to Mosrite-oid specs.

If you want a REAL Mosrite, around Chicago, a ratty mid-60s or early 70s Mosrite Mk I Ventures Model or three occasionally makes its presence at a show or higher-end place like Chicago Music Exchange. Don't blink at a beat to snot one for over 4 LARGE $ and a nice one over 7, in this opinion.

Best of fortune.
