I'm much more a spontaneous buyer, especially of guitars and amps. My last purchase, about a week ago, was one of the newly reissued Epi Nighthawks in trans-black. Very cool guitar with lots of tone options and beautiful fit and finish. Not sure what the next will be - I don't plan that far ahead. GAS to the max.

you will love it. :D

im on course for a 60 classic strat and a MesaBoogie Express 5:50 combo.

Indeed. I went down to GC and played around with one a few days ago. Man it was sweet. With the tube mix knob at 12 o' clock I thought I was in vintage amp heaven! And the small footprint is great. I'm loving the Jet City so much though that another guitar might be in order first. Funny thing is, I've been looking at the Classic 60s Strat in LPB. Sweet guitar right there.

+1!

Cedarblues got a real sweet one that modded out nicely to vintage specs.

Me, I'm still looking around for an amp project. Or a guitar project.

Still on the prowl for opportunities......

You know, after wrapping my hand around the neck on the one I got to play, I think it's a guitar I'd be perfectly happy with playing without ever modding it. But I said that about the Tele and I did have the soldering iron and the dremel out last night. :D

A decent Taylor or Martin acoustic. Been trying out a few for a couple months and have been narrowing it down -- slowly. I hope to have it decided in time for it to be a xmas present to myself.

I was reading about the Electro-Harmonix Pog today and that seems to be a great octave up and down pedal plus a whole lot of really cool effects,so that has made my list.

I had the same Epiphone Nighthawk Reissue urge, Dennis. I almost special ordered a Chicago Blue Gibson Nighthawk in January but a 1961 SG Reissue got in the way. My favorite local Guitar Center got an Epi Nighthawk in last week and I couldn't resist taking it home. I bought one with the Fireburst finish.

What a cool guitar with lots of available tones. I'm really enjoying mine.

Me? It's either a CP Jazzmaster HH or Jaguar HH, though I wouldn't turn up my nose at a Blacktop of either (Yes, I know the Jazz is HS). Also a Mustang Pawnshop. I just dig that jag body style.

Either that or a new hip joint. I'm old enough to be a lot of these guys' father. Grandfather's pushin' it though...60's a few years away.
