ok i know this is old news but i only heard this now ... but how did you react when you first heard justin bieber say that he was the "Kurt cobain of his generation"?

p.s. i'm not a hater i have nothing against bieber but this really did it for me

I never heard this,but I can tell ya that this Beiber thing can't sing or play an instrument worth a crap and makes way too much money for a kid his age.He's the 'DORK' of his generation I wish I made that kinda money for doing nothing

I don,t really have an opinion of this kid since I could recognize anything he as done. People do say some stupid things so that gets added to the list. And he has a funny name. Thats all I have to say about that.

A minxture of anger, disbelief, and annoyance at all the dumbasses who all of the sudden were Kurt Cobain fans (I heard SLTS at least 10 times a week for a few weeks after, usually originating from a 12 year old girl's iPod)

I have argued this stuff for a long time with people. I know years from now, we will all still know Cobain. Very few will remember this other kid. Besides, I play guitar for myself and because I like people around me who play (for the most part). I dont play to impress 13 year old girls.

I was sooooo tempted to take the piss here out of Kurt..... ... But no way even from a anti Kurt Person he does nt deserve to be pigeon holed with this little Micky mouse club fairy.

If by "his generation" he means 13 year old girls than yes, he is.

(Although in all fairness not all girls are like that. When I was 13 I despised all the pop idols, I was much more into heavy rock and I could care less about guys with pretty hair. In fact, back when boy bands were big in the late nineties I didn't like them either. )
