Hey guys! A year and some change back I used to post videos of new songs I had written here and get feedback. You guys really helped me grow as songwriter, but video editing is a massive pain so eventually I got tired of the whole YouTube thing.

Anyway, my girlfriend and I broke up a few days ago, and I've been plotting ways to win her back ever since. Long story short, I wrote this song for her and made a video/proper recording, just like I used to.

You can find it at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EYephDU6GNo (notice the guitar- my other baby, an '08 American Standard Strat running through a Vox AC4TV).

So, the plan now is to get it to go viral. But of course, I need help.

If you like the song, and you want to help me out, spread it around. Send it to whoever; facebook, other forums, anything. I'm really hoping I can get enough momentum going for this to happen.

Thanks guys, and, of course, let me know what you think of the song.

I think before we agree to help we need to ask a few questions like Are you a stalker?
Have you ever been a Stalker? and Do you intend on becomeing a stalker?

Whilst this is a noble cause, I think you also have to acknowledge the reasons for the breakup and deal with that.

Writing a song whilst a nice gesture won't make her forget the reasons she doesn't want to be with you for, and might just be creepy.

However that being said, good luck in your quest!

oh man, some of the best blues tune have come from situations like this.
if anything, he needs to write for him and not her maybe.

i liked the song actually. well writen and sang well.
small piece of advice, in my opinion, the guitar volume is a touch to high, and slow it
the playing down. the playing is much to fast for the lyrics. in the solo, try some bends. nothing you can do on guitar puts more expression in a song than bends.
this is just my opinion and not worth a whole lot.
the lyrics were pretty darn good though. i liked them. nothing like a lost g.friend, wife, or mistress to inspire some of the better songs out there.

Yeah, I've always written songs about breakups, etc. I'm usually at my creative peek when there's something wrong. I'm not worried about her being creeped out; I've written a few songs for her before this one.

Thanks guys, and you're probably right; I should maybe slow it down a bit.

Dude......comon man!!
Song was ok, but no crying about chicks on the Fender forum. They are way overrated  .Think of all the extra money you would have for gear with no chick.Maybe she doesn't want to be with you for a good reason...I don't know.Plotting ways to get her back sounds like your stalking the woman. If you get back together with her you will have no reason to sing the blues. Sometimes....I wish I was single again.Just suck it up and move on bro.
My .02 as harsh as it may be
