I know a lot of guys mention Audacity. I was wondering about Mixcraft 5. It doesn't cost too much and I don't mind paying a bit if it's a good program. I really want to go the Mac Book Pro / Garage Band / Logic route but don't want to spend the coin right now. This Mixcraft 5 looks like it might be a good alternative to get started with.
