all went well, haggled a little and got it for 2,000,000 won ($1,844). it is really beautiful, has all paperwork and things that shipped with it still in the wrapper. Even the hard case is heavy duty and really high quality.

Hi zenbone: oh man, I just love that plain top (spruce, I presume?) and the flamed back. That is so stylish! What a cool guitar!

Is that a spare pickguard I'm seeing peeping out from beneath the case candy? How come?

Anyhow. Congrats! Now, enjoy that bad baby!

Cheers - C

Beautiful!

Almost pulled the plug on one last year but bought my Ric 360 12 instead. Enjoy.

Yup, not sure... it was included in the deal. I have been playing since i got it home. I love this guitar! it is just dripping with style! every single piece on it is deco styled. it feels so sweet, the only thing i am going to switch is the strings to my Ernie Ball Slinkys. the strings that are on it are Duesenberg 10s and feel very stiff compared to what i am used to. I can't wait to get back home and shoot a few picks with this next to my Jaguar HH special.

Gorgeous.. I love those Doozies..

Saw Bill Nelson a few year ago, playing a Duesenburg Starplayer TV (amongst other guitars). Been a fan of them ever since. I especially like the 3 step Art Deco stylings on the headstock and scratchplate. Havent seen any in my home town which is the UK second City. Tried one in London, but I just couldn't justify the expense.

Yours looks a particularly nice example. Sure you'll enjoy it for many years to come.

She's a Doozy alright-an absolute beauty-Congrats.BTW the term Doozy comes from the Deusenburg cars of the 20's and 30's.At the time a Deusenburg chassis alone with just the front cowl forward and the engine and radiator cost the equivilent of over $100,000.00 so a fully finished Deusey could top out at nearly a cool million or more in today's money.Since then anything of high over the top quality has been refered to as a Deusey.

Wow, that's beautiful. I've always wanted a Duesenberg, and I've played a few in my local store. The sound great, and play really nice. Sigh...one day

Congrats on the new guitar.
