Blues, Classic Rock, and Southern Rock are mainly what I listen to but I enjoy just about anything except Rap and Hip Hop.

I said I enjoy just about anything EXCEPT Rap and Hip Hop. I would rather commit Hari Kari with a butter knife than listen to that stuff.

Hoya!

I LOVE Black American music EXCEPT Rap! Come on, I am a Funketeer, I simply cannot listen to Rap!

Although, I have recently discovered Country (Vince Gill and Jerry Donahue! Wow, I need a new set of fingers...).

Of course Classic Rock: Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Santana, Pink Floyd.

I am a Blues and Jazzhead (wot? I said I love Black US music? Oh, nevermind!).

And I love mavericks like Neil Young and Frank Zappa (one of the GREATEST ever! And what a guitarist!!!)

Plus a couple other things (Metal...).
For the record, I own more than 700 albums :-P

Be funky

I recently discovered Vince Gill also, on the Crossroads DVD. Man, he can finger a Fender. His licks on those two tracks had me gawping in amazement.

Funny bridge he has on that Strat - anyone know what that is?

Hoya!

Actually, correct me if I am wrong, it is a Strat from the 60s, which he customised. He swapped the pickups (!) for his signature active EMGs and, I believe, he went for a hardtail bridge.

And me too, I discovered him on the Crossroads DVD and I was pretty impressed, it is one of my favourite performances on the DVD. Simply too bad many people have been ommited: Neal Schon, JEFF BECK!!! And so on..

There is actually (contrary to popular belief) some good rap out there.
The old school stuff is good.

This is a tough question, because I enjoy music from almost all genres. But my favorite today would have to be.....blues. But I think yesterday it was metal. And the day before that it was folk.
